Christ the Cornerstone Academy offers a Christ-centered education in Laurinburg, North Carolina for students in preschool through 12th grade. We are committed to the spiritual development of our students, seeking to point the way to Jesus Christ and guide them with the truth of God’s Word daily as they learn the scriptures and develop a biblical worldview.

Academics

At Christ the Cornerstone Academy, we dedicate ourselves to academic excellence with courses designed to challenge students and foster a love of learning. Our Christian academy offers small classes with opportunities for individualized and small-group instruction.

Our teachers challenge students to be thinkers and problem-solvers with hands-on and real-world learning experiences. Our curriculum is Christ-centered and standards-based. We offer advanced-level courses for academically gifted students, small-group pullouts and tutoring for students with academic needs, as well as dual enrollment and AP courses for high schoolers.

"CTCA is the right school for any family whose main priority is that their child be educated with a Christian worldview and have a continuous focus on the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Everything we do at CTCA helps students and families grow in their faith. We have loved our years at CTCA. "
Leslie Smith, Parent

Extracurricular Activities

Our students have the opportunity to participate in service clubs, FCA, theater, chorus, and scholars. Students participate each year in our annual science fair and spelling bee, as well as creative writing and art competitions.

Our athletic program offers numerous opportunities for student athletes to participate in competitive sports year round.  We are a member of the Carolina Christian Athletic Association and have won numerous conference championships over the past decade.  Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams compete in cross country, volleyball, soccer,  basketball, golf, baseball, and softball. We also offer a competitive shooting team, cheerleading, and color guard.

"l attended CTCA from Kindergarten until I graduated, and I could not be more blessed to call it home. I watched it grow from around 30 students to what it is today, and the same truths still hold true: the school is a family, and each day students are pointed to God. CTCA had so much impact on the person I am today, the future I have ahead, and the faith that is instilled within me. I am forever thankful for this sweet school! "
